A liquid homage to 189.
Cantina 189 is an intimate cocktail focused bar tucked away on the bustling Hastings Street West. From Marcelo Ramirez and Tara Davies, the pair that opened Chupito in the summer of 2021, this unassuming cocktail bar is the wild, younger sibling that took over the space downstairs - 324 West Hastings next door to La Taqueria’s original location.
It’s a love letter to Ramirez’s former address at 189 National Avenue, where the pair met and formed some of their closest friendships over cocktails, music and good wine.
Limited Reservations are available for parties of 4+, Walk-ins are always welcome. We are a majorly standing room space.
